WATCH: LeBron James hypes up son Bryce James’ high school hoop-montage
Bryce James is getting noticed by the scouts.
LeBron James‘ younger son, Bryce James, has been following in his brother’s footsteps, as the 16-year-old is making noise in high school basketball.
Bryce is already 6-foot-4 at the age of 16 and has some serious potential to become the next big thing.
While he is in the initial stage of development, by the looks of his progress, Bryce can become a top prospect in his class.
His mixtapes are an absolute delight to watch, showing his ability to read the offense and make tough shots. Bryce can shoot, drive, and pass, and he is also active on the rebounds. And that’s exactly what his father and the King himself reacted to on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Bryce James already has two offers on the table, including Ohio State and Duquesne. As of now, the 16-year-old has a long way to go, as the teen is in the middle of a crucial transition in his game. At this stage, Bryce will look to recognize his game even better and work on his most contributing role.
Bryce James topped the NIL rankings among high schoolers
Representing the Sierra Canyon at 16, while also catching scouts’ attention, Bryce James‘ influence has been incredible so far. He is ranked number one in the NIL rankings among high school athletes. Valued at $1.2 million, Bryce is also ranked 14th in the On3 NIL 100. When it comes to similarity to his father, Bryce’s game does give off a lot of resemblance to LeBron.
The teen runs the floor and hustles on every single possession. His performance has had scouts keep an eye on him, but his current game won’t be enough. Cooper Flagg, another high school sensation who has been going viral, is climbing up the ranks and is also the top prospect in his class.
Flagg is one of the guys Bryce will have to compete with to make a place among some of the best players in his class.
With that being said, it will be interesting to see Bryce improve his craft in the coming years. Like his brother, Bronny James, who committed to USC last year, Bryce is also rumored to have been on USC’s scout list. The younger James has a long way to go, and it’s only a matter of time before we’ll see him suit up for college basketball.
