LeBron James has had an illustrious career made out of poster dunks, buzzer beaters and pretty applaud-worthy attacking prowess, however, basketball is not his only field of expertise. Adam Sandler’s new movie ‘Hustle’, starring Juancho Hernangomez and whose executive producer is King James himself, will be out soon on Netflix. However, his fans were quickly onto him, reminding him that Stephen Curry is about to get as close to Jordan as him on rings tally, while he’s busy promoting a film, whereas he should be getting ready to spring a comeback in 2022-23, for the Lakers.

The King is in the chase to become the first billionaire athlete before even retiring. Already having a net worth in surplus of $850 million, he’s not shying away from making his company SpringHill Entertainment a top production house in the business, even if it means he’s distracted from basketball.

LeBron James, Adam Sandler, and Juancho Hernangomez were guests at the premiere of ‘Hustle’. Both Sandler and Hernangomez are leading stars of the movie, whereas LeBron James was working backstage ti make this movie a success. Has Lebron James, fulfilled his entire potential in the NBA, and is now moving to a less competitive lifestyle? The Fans think he should get back on the hardwood to be ready for next season.

“Lebron James doesn’t care about basketball” – Fans slam James for promoting ‘Hustle’

In 2022, Adam Sandler is all hands on deck with the premiere of his inspirational sports drama, ‘Hustle’ . Sandler leads as Stanley Sugerman, a down-on-his luck basketball scout for the Philadelphia 76ers who, while abroad discovers Bo Cruz, whose role is played by none other than Juancho Hernangómez , a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past. Sandler’s scout takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to America without his team’s approval. Against the odds, Stanley and Bo have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.

Prior to the release on the streaming giant, Netflix, there was a red carpet premiere of the movie, where reporters and critics could get a firsthand look at the final cut of the movie. At the premiere, LeBron James, Adam Sandler, and Juancho Hernangomez arrived and took pictures with each other. Lebron seemed pumped about the premiere on Twitter, posting “Yes, We Did” praising Adam Sandler and the rest on the premiere. His company has taken his brand value to another level, as he now has a wide variety of film and television shows under his belt. Films and shows by SpringHill productions have appeared on Netflix, HBO, Disney+, with its popularity growing day by day.

However, his fans didn’t seem any happier about the fact that he is off, attending some premiere of a movie, rather than at the court practicing his skill, even after a detrimental campaign in 2021-22 NBA season. On the other side, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are preparing to win it all, getting into the playoffs for the first time in 3-years didn’t make it tough for them to make it to NBA Finals.

This makes Curry inch closer towards Lebron’s legacy itself, in terms of championships won. The Lakers and Bron have have been trying their hands at the transfer market even after winning the title in 2020 and have failed to make any noise in the Playoffs for the past two seasons. Fans on Twitter were quick to point this out to James, some quite pissed at him had a lot to say –

The Lakers had a drastically poor record of 33-49 , as they move on from this nightmarish season , they will have to make plenty of moves to get back on track. As LeBron gets ready for the upcoming season, the team will have to give him more reinforcements to bring back the legacy of the Lakers. The stage Lebron is in, he is rather looking forward to play with his son Bronny, than win another Ring. However, shouldn’t he be protecting his legacy and cementing his place closer to MJ by at least fighting for a 4th Title? The fans certainly thinks so.
