“Two best teams since LeBron James left…” Nick Wright explains why Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat will make ECF over Boston Celtics
The Celtics have a lot of expectations on their shoulders.
The Boston Celtics is currently the best team in the league with a record of 52-14, recently winning over the Suns. Not only that, the Celtics became the first team this season to clinch a playoff berth.
For the past seven seasons, the Celtics have had great postseason runs, being a tough title contender each year and making five Conference Final appearances.
Not only that, but Boston did manage to make the finals in 2022. However, despite this, Nick Wright has some other predictions for this year’s Eastern Conference Finals. Wright does not believe that the Celtics will make it past the second round of the postseason.
The Heat and the Celtics have faced off three times in the ECF in the last four seasons. Still, the television personality only has confidence in the Bucks and the Heat.
Listen I'm going with the two teams that have been the two best teams in the East since LeBron James left the conference. And that is the Milwaukee Bucks over the Miami Heat.Said Wright.
The Bucks have made it past the second round only once in the last four postseasons. And the same season resulted in their championship.
On the other hand, the Heat have more Conference Final appearances than the Bucks. Looking at the statistics and how each of these teams completely transformed into a dangerous threat in the playoffs, there is no doubt that two of these squads will face off in the Conference Finals.

Miami is currently 8th in the East, so they are not to be looked out for. They finished 7th in the East last year and made it out of the Play-In up to the Finals. This year, the Cavaliers have established themselves as a serious threat in the East. While one cannot say much about the Cavs entering the playoffs, the team might just pull off an upset.
On the other hand, the New York Knicks have also been fabulous as they recover from a second-round exit against the Heat last year.
These times have been exceptional throughout the season and are expected to make a deep run this postseason. The Celtics will have to look out for each of these teams, including the elites, the Milwaukee Bucks, and Miami.
Led by Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis, whose return is probable after suffering a hamstring injury on Wednesday, they have greater expectations from the fans as well as the as the majority of the critics. Boston finally has a well-balanced squad, some of the greatest scorers in the league, and a new head coach to win a title.
