Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is a through-and-through family man. He has been appreciated by the world for the way he protects his family. But yesterday, it was his mother who found herself in the news.

James’ elder son Bronny James was playing for the University of Southern California Trojans basketball team against the Arizona State Sun Devils. While watching the game at home, James Senior was joined by his whole family as well as his mother Gloria James. But what his mother told him during the game left the megastar in tears. She told James;

You know how amazing this is!? Sitting here with my son while watching my grandson on TV. I feel so present and blessed.

LeBron’s mother basically reminded him what family is all about. Of course, things turned out as perfectly as she would have ever wanted.

Bronny James is in his freshman year at USC. But expectations are high for the son of one of the all-time greats of basketball. The fact that Bronny is at a university close to their family home and his father’s team is the perfect setting senior James could hope for. So, to have a wholesome family moment is something that brought out the waterworks.

James Senior has always put his family above everything else. As he mentioned to reporters before Bronny’s college debut, LeBron informed his team that he would miss their game if his son’s debut clashed with it. Such has been his dedication to his family that it has always garnered the respect of the whole world.

Bronny James continuing his father’s legacy

LeBron James is one of the, if not the greatest to ever play the game. His legacy on the basketball court has been built through 21 seasons of elite play. The four-time champion and all-time scoring leader has been the face of the league throughout his time.

As he continues to play at age 39, James Senior will only want to add to his legacy. But what better if his offspring can add to it instead?

Sons Bronny James and Bryce James are basketball players. Bronny plays for the USC Trojans and is expected to be a 1st-round draft pick. Younger son Bryce is also developing well. Now if both were to play in the NBA and have a decent career, it would be the best-case scenario for Gloria James.

For LeBron James, this is life coming full circle. The megastar having his family around him and watching his son continue his legacy is all that matters to him now.
