LeBron James’ Evolution and Impact on the Game
Both DeRozan and George acknowledged the immense growth and evolution of LeBron James throughout his career. DeRozan praised James’ ability to read and control the game. The former Raptors star emphasized James’ basketball IQ and his talent for understanding his opponents’ tendencies, which allowed him to pull down opposing offenses.
“He knows people’s tendencies to a tee,” DeRozan said. “Once you understand and know guys’ tendencies, it’s easier to cut off certain options and box an offense in.”
LeBron James’ impact on his opponents goes beyond the court. Both DeRozan and George acknowledged that their encounters with James significantly influenced their careers.
