It seems that LeBron James and the Lakers don't place a lot of emphasis on pregame warmups.

It appears that LeBron James and the Lakers don’t place much importance on pregame stretching. The Lakers lost to the 76ers 113-112 on Sunday, slipping to a dismal 19-24 overall, but based on how LeBron and Russell Westbrook behaved before the game, you wouldn’t have guessed there was any urgency. The squad made the decision that having fun with the fans came before winning. Westbrook began to dance as Lebron fired off a hook jumper from the corner.
The Lakers are now many games below .500. You’d imagine that they would be focused on doing all it takes to win, even if it would sound foolish. There shouldn’t be time for games and gimmicks when you’re headed straight for missing the playoffs. Of course, we’re talking about LeBron James here. He is hooked to attention. Only when it was necessary to hold China responsible did he remain silent. Apart from that, he rushes toward cameras like they’re out of fashion. Remember that the team fell short to the 76ers on Sunday by one point. Would it make a difference if he had a couple more legitimate shots before the game? It’s difficult to say, but it would have unquestionably been better than whatever this rubbish was.

On Sunday, LeBron James became only the second player in NBA history to reach 38,000 career points, pushing him closer from breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record. James, who is in his 20th NBA season, needed 11 points to pass the 38,000-point mark before making a mid-range jump shot in the opening quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers’ game at home against the Philadelphia 76ers.
James finally scored 35 points, but the Lakers’ 113–112 loss made it a bittersweet night for James. The forward, 38, began his professional career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and has also played for the Miami Heat. This season, he has scored 29 points per game. James, a four-time champion and MVP, is on track to surpass Abdul-Jabbar’s previous record of 38,387 points, which stood for 34 years. Last month, James turned 38, and Abdul-Jabbar sent him a happy birthday letter that said, “38 is the new 38,388.” According to NBA figures, James is now 363 points behind Abdul-Jabbar and is predicted to break the record before the All-Star break next month based on his scoring average.
