LeBron James reacts to Ja Morant’s unbelievable 47-point explosion vs Warriors in Game 2

Ja Morant vs Warriors and LeBron James
Since the dawn of modern-day NBA, fans have witnessed the legendary LeBron James coming off big in the most crunch time for his respective team, be it Cleveland Cavaliers or Los Angeles Lakers, the King has displayed applaud-worthy performances in the playoffs. So, it is indeed safe to say, he is an eligible candidate to spot the right talent. On the same note, the 37-year-old was mesmerized to witness Ja Morant’s 47-point explosion against Golden State Warriors.

The Memphis Grizzlies hosted former champions, Golden State Warriors for the second time in the span of 3-days for Game 2 of their semi-final series. Being 1-0 down, Ja Morant knew exactly how to bring his team back into the contention. The rest being history for those who witnessed, but Morant went onto score game-high 47 points to edge his team past Warriors, equalizing the series 1-1.
Ja Morant’s heroics drags Grizzlies back in semi-final series against Warriors

Like many other LeBron James also doubled down the conversation of Ja Morant being up for the Most Improved Player accolade. With the kind of numbers and consistency this 22-year-old, he’s bound to be spoken off in the MVP discussions.
The 4-time NBA Champ and Finals MVP certainly makes a great point, and a lot of people also believe that’s the case. Ja Morant was already a superstar since he arrived in the NBA, and he’s just making sure no one can deny it now. Whatever the case may be, the Grizzlies are certainly lucky to have Morant on their side. The 22-year-old joined both LeBron and Kobe Bryant as the only players to score multiple 45-point games in the playoffs before turning 23, and that speaks volumes on how good he is already this early in his career.

Given that this particular series would not be moving in the home-yard of the Golden State Warriors, Morant will need to be at his venomous best in order to salvage a win for his team at all costs. Who comes out on top as we approach Game 3? Remains to be seen.
