“I don’t play fantasy football!” LeBron James REFUSES to be disrespectful towards Lakers teammates amidst trade desperations

Even at the age of 39, LeBron “King” James continues to defy every expectation and is performing at an elite level. From his dominance on the basketball court to his fitness levels and work ethic, there is no stopping him.
However, amidst the ongoing trade rumors, this time it’s LeBron James himself who finds his name in the headlines. As murmurs of potential trades that the Lakers may get involved in continued to circulate, the seasoned athlete refused to let the speculation affect his dedication to the Los Angeles Lakers.
After their 127-110 win over the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron was asked if the LA Lakers need to be involved in the trades with the deadline approaching, to which he simply replied:
I don’t play fantasy basketball.
James then went on to call the question disrespectful to the franchise and his teammates.
It was also made clear that he is willing to continue to work hard with his team and not get disrespected with the big season that lies ahead of them. Of course, recent results have still led to worry among the fans.
Lakers produce big win against the Mavs
It was a showdown of the night between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks. And it was the Lakers who emerged victorious with a convincing 127-110 win at the Crypto.com Arena. As for the Mavericks, they couldn’t extend their win record on away ground at the arena.
Luka Doncic, who has been a key figure for this Mavericks side, was a force to be reckoned with as his performance got him 33 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. This was his seventh triple-double of the season and put him in an even better position for the MVP award.
As for the Lakers’ superstar, LeBron James, he had one of those stellar games of his own. Contributing 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists, he once again proved that his impact on this Lakers team is utterly needed. Fans will hope he continues his form and carries the team to glory this season.
