“Four motherf**kers on me” LeBron James reveals why he passes the ball too often
Lebron James in "The Shop"
LeBron James really gets criticized and trolled for everything and anything he does. The most recent one on the list which actually has resurfaced up again is his skill of passing the ball. Yes, unfortunately, The King gets criticized for passing the ball too and that’s just a necessary skill to win games but again things are always different and unique with Bron. LeBron James is a complete package of the game and can do everything and anything on the court. He has been a great forward throughout his career but he has never been limited to it. As he is a multi-positional player and can get the job done from every position.
So criticizing the Lakers star for his passing ability is just unfair but that’s what we all have been doing throughout the time. He ranks seventh on the list of all-time assists made and that’s really a legendary achievement. As he also has the biggest triple-double ever in all the important categories points, assists and rebounds. So criticizing LeBron James for passing the ball when that’s the most important part of the game is just senseless. When we say he’s a complete package that means LeBron James right now is one of the best scorers, rebounders and playmakers in the league and there’s no doubt about it.
LeBron James on him getting unnecessary criticism
LeBron addressing the unnecessary criticism he gets for passing the ball too much quoted: “I get sh*t for making the right play. Four motherf*ckers on me. Motherf*cker wide open right here. We are team, I trust them. Why wouldn’t I have thrown it to them?” Honestly, LeBron James is right with his words as if the other player missed the shot. It isn’t his fault as being a leader and especially a teammate he has to trust his boys.
The other and most important point LeBron highlighted was how being very closely contested and guarded leaves him no option but to pass the ball. So it’s not him who is wrong for passing the ball as he is just selflessly playing the game with the most basic fundamentals one requires to win it all. But it’s the fans who are on the wrong end for throwing unnecessary shade at him.
