LeBron James has had an illustrious career made out of poster dunks, buzzer beaters and pretty applaud-worthy attacking prowess, however, he is a very calm man with the same level of humor on the home front as well. The Los Angeles Lakers star-studded team not making into the playoffs was and has been one of the biggest talking points in and around the world of NBA. With One of the All-Time Greats, Lebron James himself, and two future Hall of Famers in Anthony Davis and freshly traded, Russell Westbrook, the Lakers looked scary on paper, not so much on court.
With multiple speculations around his time at the Lakers, We’ve got to wait a few months to know whether the 4x Champ stays and gets another attempt for the Lakers’ 18th title or he gets traded. The Lakers have a proud winning history, but that desire to always be in contention may have just backfired after the 2021-22 season that saw them miss the playoffs. It’s already the second time in four years since LeBron arrived that they failed to make it to the postseason.

Lebron James has had a stressful season with people questioning him over and over again, as the Lakers underperformed drastically. There seemed to be a lack of urgency among the players in general, with all the injuries, they never developed any rhythm. After all the mayhem on-court, James deserved some quality family time, and is enjoying it this off-season, as he hysterically trolled his wife on a recent Instagram reel.
LeBron James has a terrific marriage with Savannah James, as every day they look stronger and happier than before, as is evident by this reel. “Love a girl who can slay one day and look homeless the next. Balance, baby,” the audio says. During the most recent episode of ‘The Shop’, James explained how it felt to miss the playoffs this season. He admitted that it was hurtful, but also revealed that it served him as a chance to grant her sweetheart a trip to her dream vacation yo Maldives.
It was a rare experience for LeBron James, who hasn’t missed many playoffs during his 19-year career. The King recently opened up on how he lived these moments, even on vacation. On the brand-new episode of The Shop, James was asked how it felt to miss the playoffs when he’s so used to being in those games. Meanwhile, the King is trying to have fun while he’s inactive. He has traveled around the world, hung out with celebrities, made some moves that earned him the status of a billionaire, hooped with his kids at home too.
” I was literally in the Maldives, waking up at 3 in the morning watching the playoff games. Like every single game at 3 in the morning. It burns my stomach to not be a part of these games.” Lebron stated on the ‘The Shop’ about how he would have loved to be a part of the playoffs this season. A four-time champion and Finals MVP, James remains arguably the best if not one of the greatest players in the league. For him not to have the chance to showcase his elite level of play at the highest level would definitely hurt.
James has explicitly stated that he will play for the team that drafts his son. He has said that is his No. 1 goal and will make them the first father-son duo to play in NBA history. As the years go by, everyone will get a clearer picture of what the four-time NBA champ wants. The Lakers had a drastically poor record of 33-49 , as they move on from this nightmarish season , they will have to make plenty of moves to get back on track. As LeBron gets ready for the upcoming season, the team will have to give him more reinforcements to bring back the legacy of the Lakers, for now, its ‘LeTroll’ and ‘LeParty’ !
