“We got you Brother” LeBron James showers love on John Wall after suicidal thoughts confession
John Wall and Lebron James
LeBron James has been a real one for John Wall as recently both of them made it to the NBA headlines and the reason for it is really shocking the whole sports world. As the Clippers’ guard recently, openly admitted about the suicidal thoughts he had during the last two and half years when he was at the lowest point of his life. John Wall just years ago was in the top guard’s conversation but injuries ruined him and his career. He even had to take a whole year off from the league due to surgeries and then the mental trauma and anxiety got him bad as he considered suicide as an option. Not many were there for him when he was going through all of that but again they didn’t knew about it but now when he has revealed it all, LeBron James is making sure that he backs his boy up.
LeBron James also like us all came to know about John Wall’s tough time via his interview which is now viral all over the internet. As during a John Wall Foundation event with the Salvation Army, in an interview with Boxtorow, he openly admitted about having suicidal thoughts. When questioned about the last two and a half years, John Wall shocked the whole sports world when replying to it he said: “Darkest place I’ve ever been in. At one point in time, I thought about committing suicide. Tearing my Achilles, my mom being sick, my mom passing, my grandma passing a year later. All this in the midst of COVID at the same time…”
Further in the interview, John Wall has also mentioned how he was anxious, wearing same clothes for days and how he finally got his life right. As he said: “Looking at all that, I’m like, if I can get through this, I can get through anything in life. And I don’t like to brag about it…everybody goes through something, we all went through tough times, nobody got it easy. But I don’t think a lot of people could get through what I went through…I went to find a therapist A lot of people think I don’t need help I can get through it at any time, but you gotta be true to yourself and find out what’s best for you.”
John Wall’s family and his lovely sons really backed him up all the time and he finally won over his trauma. But the road wasn’t easy and as he said not everyone makes out of that box and end up losing their life. Fortunately, he didn’t do none of that knowingly what’s right and wrong for him. And, now he has his rival from the Battle of Los Angeles backing him up and it matters a lot. Not because it’s LeBron James on the other end but because of his commitment towards the guard as he is present for him from now onwards and is also super proud as he won over suicide.
