LeBron James and LaVar Ball unexpectedly shook hands and hugged each other at Drew League after years of beefing against each other. It was very unexpected because many around still think that the bridge between them was burnt as soon as LeGM traded Lonzo Ball to New Orleans Pelicans for getting in Anthony Davis. But now it looks like things have healed for them and they are back as mates. LaVar Ball has been a big Laker fan since his days and wanted his sons to hoop for them but he started hating the team and the leader LeBron James as they traded his son away. Now though he has brought in all of his three sons to the league and they are about to be great.
LaVar Ball has always been a funny and interesting guy throughout his time and he’s also a successful businessman and investor. From owning the Big Baller Brand to making sure his sons make it big in the league the road wasn’t easy for him. Especially when LiAngelo Ball was struggling and Lonzo Ball had to part ways with his dream franchise. So he hated on the Lakers for years and even cursed them to never win a championship again but that didn’t age well as 2020 was an unbelievable year around the globe. He in fact even fired many shots towards LeBron James and his son Bronny all those years and even claimed his son to be better than LeBron James.
As in an interview, he quoted: “LeBron getting older. I’ll make Zo better than LeBron if I’m coaching because I’m gonna let him loose.” This year Drew League (a pro-am basketball league held every summer) got a surprise appearance from LeBron James and showed out the world that things between The King and LaVar Ball are cool as they exchanged some words (still unknown), dapped each other up like the boys do and hugged it out just before the game was about to start.

LeBron James after greeting LaVar Ball went on to the main business he was down in the town for and that was to put on a show. For the fans who were waiting to see him hoop for hours. He was back after a decade so many knew it was going to be a great game and indeed it was. As LeBron James led the MMV Cheaters to win at 104-102 against the Black Pearl Elite by dropping 42 points, 16 rebounds and 4 steals. He also brought in a crazy amount of fans and many celebrities in attendance as you never know when he decides to play in the Drew League again.
