While America was in shock with the news of Texas school shooting. With regular occurrences of such events, people expressed anger towards the administration, also condolences for all those affected and NBA Stars did the same. Here are some of the reactions from the NBA world.
Tuesday brought saddening news of the massacre in Texas. A small town in rural Texas is reeling after a teenage gunman opened fire at an elementary school killing 19 children and 2 teachers at Robb Elementry School in Uvalde. The killer identified as 18-year-old Salvador Ramos is also a student from that school and also allegedly shot his grandmother, as per authorities. Though Ramos is also shot dead by the police, a wave of anger and distress moved through the world.
NBS world also showed their support to those affected families and some even lashed out at the governing bodies for lack of regulations even senators were targeted by some players and coaches.

As per records, The United States suffered 19,350 firearm homicides in the year 2020. This was up nearly 35 percent rise in count from 2019, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in its latest data. In 144 days of 2022, this is the 199th mass- extermination. Still, multiple initiatives to reform gun regulations have failed in the US Congress. And this left states and local councils to strengthen – or weaken – their restrictions. Hence Senator Mitch McConnell was also targeted after a recent event.

Coach Steve Kerr was addressing a pregame interview where he took the liberty to speak about the massacre rather than the game and playoffs. He said, “Since we left shootaround, 14 children were killed 400 miles from here, and a teacher. In the last 10 days, we’ve had elderly Black people killed in a supermarket in Buffalo, we’ve had Asian churchgoers killed in Southern California, and now we have children murdered at school.”
