With LeBron James preparing and looking for ways to chill in the off-season, he seems to have found a new spot – Saudi Arabia. A new video has surfaced of LeBron in Saudi Arabia with him being surrounded by what appears to be sheikhs from the city and many bodyguards. The video, ever since it went viral, has stirred up debate and discussions among the NBA community.
Ever since LeBron had joked about moving to Saudi after the Kylian Mbappe deal, he has been constantly linked to Saudi. According to sources and reports, he has been invited by the Saudi Sports Ministry to visit the country. @KSABasket on Twitter, an account that covers Saudi Basketball news tweeted, “The arrival of American LeBron James to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of the Ministry of Sports.”
Even though there have not been any updates from him or his media team while on the trip. This has raised many questions in the minds of everyone. The Saudi sports show-off started with the golf league called the LIV, then onto soccer with the signings of Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. Who knows whether this is an indication to them showing off in the basketball league too.
