LeBron James is one superstar who is known to have done it all in the field of basketball for his family. How ironic is it, that this particular 4x NBA Finals MVP till date does not know who is father actually is. Yet there was one man who decided to claim that he was LeBron James’ father. His name was Leicester Stovell, who publicly claimed to have spent time with Gloria James.
To turn back the history pages, Leicester claimed to have spent some time with Gloria, and eventually went onto spend one night together. But the former was so ashamed of his doings, that he never contacted Gloria again. And then got to know that Gloria James was in-turn pregnant. So why was he ashamed? Because as per his theory, he was 29, while Gloria was 15-years-old. To this date LeBron James has never-ending love for his mother, and a major part of it has been developed because of their rise to success together.
LeBron James was fined $4 Million by Leicester Stovell
Leicester wanted to reconnect, and know his son, but sensing that he was out to cash in Bron’s success, she kept him away. Until that particular incident, LeBron James did not know anything about this man. When he caught wind of it, he was desperate to know whether it could be true. After a lot of coaxing and calming down, they all agreed to a DNA test, Jerry Springer style.
But as luck would have it, the results came back negative. Suspecting foul play from the James mom-son duo, Leicester Stovell launched a $4 million lawsuit against the mother and son for defamation, misrepresentation, and fraud. The judge who was handling the case threw it out the window quite quickly, because it was obvious, he was out only for the money and nothing else. It may be this very reason why LeBron is such a good dad to his 3 kids.
These are some reasons why LeBron is such an amazing dad to 3 kids. Given that he himself has learnt the value of having a good dad, who nurtures the value of family and embeds into the family system, it is indeed safe to say that Lebron has done a fab job. However, the Lakers’ superstar might perform on the court, but he never shies away to throw love and appreciation towards any of his family members.
