Rapper Lil Wayne is a bonafide basketball fan. He has appeared courtside in several games. However, something happened during the Los Angeles Lakers game on Thursday night that led to a rant from Wayne. He accused the Lakers of mistreating him. A leaked video has brought out the footage showing the situation Wayne is talking about, leading to him facing the wrath of Lakers fans.

The leaked footage from TMZ Sports shows that Lil Wayne was slowly making his way to the courtside seats while the game was in progress. As he was about to enter the lane for his seats, the Lakers’ security stopped him. Wayne throws his arms in the air as the security staff talk to him about the situation.

Consequently, Wayne instantly took a U-turn and headed for the exit. Lakers fans are calling Wayne a crybaby for leaving the arena instantly.

The backdrop of this situation is when Lil Wayne said that the Los Angeles Lakers need to trade Anthony Davis and “bring in some talented players.” After this, he appeared at the Lakes game against the Washington Wizards on Thursday.

As he exited the arena, he took his frustrations out on X;

Wow! Got treated like sh*t at the Laker game just now but I figured they’d do me that sooner or later either bc of what i said abt AD or simply bc they don’t fwm which I been got that vibe from em as well so all good I get it. F*ck em. It isn’t what it isn’t. I’m used to it.

The video suggests that Wayne might not be fully forthright about what happened between himself and the Lakers security staff.

Lakers fans are letting Lil Wayne hear their wrath

Lil Wayne enraged Los Angeles Lakers fans when he asked the team to trade Anthony Davis. They did not see the logic in Wayne’s words and were already out for blood. Then, when his tweet came out, the Lakers were made to look bad for the incident. All of a sudden, the footage has flipped the script on Wayne. And Lakers fans are livid.
