“Doncic is a ho*” Lil Wayne goes berserk in calling out Luka Doncic after he sends Suns fans out of arena at halftime

Lil Wayne disses Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic come to Phoenix with one mission, destroy, obliterate and overcome. Mission Accomplished and in quite some fashion too as Doncic scored 35 points while Spencer Dinwiddie added 30 to help Mavericks blitz past Suns with a 123-90 knockout victory on Sunday night. The Mavericks pounced on to a 57-27 lead over the top-seeded Phoenix Suns at halftime and never looked back, advancing to the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2011. A number of famous folks in attendance included Lil Wayne, who joined the Suns last postseason as they celebrated making the NBA Finals, clearly not celebrating this year.

Doncic earned the Mavs an early lead, making his first three shots, including two 3-pointers. That helped Dallas push to a 27-17 advantage in the first quarter and a whopping 57-27 cushion at the halftime break. Phoenix’s All-Star backcourt of Paul and Devin Booker was never a factor, Booker finished with 11 points and shot 3 of 14 while Paul had 10 points and four assists. The Suns shot just 37.9% from the field as Cam Johnson led all Suns scorers with 12 points off of the bench.

“Luka Doncic a Ho*”

Lil Wayne had courtside seats to the enthralling Game 7 showdown on May 15th, but his scathes at Luka Doncic a week ago came back to haunt him. Its almost as if Luka spotted him in the arena and decided to turn up the ante, let his actions speak louder than menial tweets.

The fact that the Suns actively passed up on drafting the Slovenian talent in 2018 to get themselves DeAndre Ayton, is not just hilarious but also adds salt to injury in this shocking defeat of the Suns. During Game 4 of the series on May 8, Weezy took to Twitter to call Luka Doncic a “ho” after he was left unimpressed with the way the Mavericks star was behaving on the court, barking at the referees for fouls.

Lil Wayne relationship with Chris Paul dates back nearly 2 decades. The two met at the Final Four in 2005 where they exchanged numbers as CP3 played for New Orleans from 2005-2011, and have been been solid ever since. Luka Doncic dominating Chris Paul and his Phoenix Suns team 4 games out of 7 must not sit right with Weezy. Skip Bayless, the popular ESPN analyst hoped Lil Wayne’s presence may inspire his brother to perform better and get out of his slump.

Chris Paul and Devin Booker since the start of this series had a lot to say and express against Doncic, on the court as well as off it. Especially when they went 2-0 up to start the series, the duo looked down upon the Slovenian sensation like he was a nobody. In the seven & half quarters since Devin Booker said “The Luka Special”, Luka Doncic has 67 points & the Mavs are up by 40 in Game 7. Ja Morant wasn’t missing out on the fun as he suggested that Luka took Lil Wayne’s tweet personally and awakened his inner ‘Jordan’ to drop a masterful 35 points on merely 19 shots from the field.

If anyone still doubts Luka, should probably watch some other sport as once again the Maverivck’s Superstar has proven his worth, cementing his position as one of the best youngsters in the league. Whether or not Doncic has seen this tweet is not known, but given how well he played during Game 7, i think we all know the answer to that. Luka carries on the dream of the Mavericks as they now face the great dynasty, Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals on May 18. Steph vs Luka, who are you picking ?
