Tonight was a special night for the NBA. It marked the fourth anniversary of the death of Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant. What made it more magical was the historic performances from two of the best young players in the league. Luka Doncic and Devin Booker scored 73 and 62 points respectively for their teams. Fans concluded it was a fitting tribute to the legacy-defining career of Bryant.
Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic scored 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks. This performance marks the fourth-best individual score by any player in the history of the league. In another matchup, Devin Booker, the Phoenix Suns superstar, scored 62 points against the Indiana Pacers. Their performances were a tribute to the late Lakers great. Basketball fans rejoiced as two of the best players in the league celebrated Bryant on this special day, with special performances.

Kobe Bryant died in a tragic helicopter crash on 26th January 2020. To this day, many basketball fans, players, and people in general have felt the loss of one of the greatest players to play the game. So, it was fitting for these two superstars to celebrate Bryant’s greatness by making history of their own.
Doncic and the Mavericks rode his 73-point performance to win against the Atlanta Hawks. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Mavericks, who are without superstar Kyrie Irving. Booker’s 62 points were not enough to win against the Indiana Pacers. The highest-scoring team in the league had just enough production from their players to win against the Suns.
