Marcus Morris fires shot at Erik Spoelstra, Heat amid Game 5 vicious beatdown by Celtics
Marcus Morris fires shot Erik Spoelstra
The Boston Celtics slammed their authority on Miami Heat at Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, with a resounding win which left Marcus Morris with a sour taste in the mouth. It was an important game for both the teams as everyone wanted the dub so they can establish a lead and the Celtics got it done. In the first half, Miami Heat had the game well-controlled but soon it was a changed story as Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown stepped up and dominated their rivals. The Celtics in the third quarter outscored the Heat by 32-16 and that particular stretch eventually won them the game.
The final box score stands at 80-93 favoring the Boston Celtics. The Heat squad under the leadership of Jimmy Butler wasn’t having a good time as they struggled in all aspects of the game from shooting to playmaking. While the Celtics were just comparatively better than them. This time it was Jaylen Brown making the loudest noise possible while running coast to coast and running the offensive end too.
Jaylen Brown scored 25 points, Jayson Tatum added 22 and the Celtics are now one win from the NBA Finals. They ran away after halftime to beat the Miami Heat 93-80 on Wednesday night and take a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference title series. Bam Adebayo scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Heat, who shot 32% in the game after shooting 33% in Boston’s 20-point win in Game 4. Gabe Vincent added 15, Jimmy Butler had 13 and Duncan Robinson scored 11 for Miami.

“I’m confused” Marcus Morris slams Erik Spoelstra for benching his brother Markieff Morris
The Heat actually led the game at halftime, but the Celtics completely flipped the script over the final 24 minutes of action and outplayed Miami on both ends of the floor to close out the contest. In addition to Brown and Tatum, Boston also got some big-time contributions from Al Horford and Derrick White, firing the Celtics within one win from their first NBA Finals appearance since 2010.
Marcus Morris expresses his bewilderment at the Miami Heat head coach, Erik Spoelstra, for not playing his brother Markieff Morris. The LA Clippers forward doesn’t see any reason for his twin brother to warm the bench, especially with the Heat needing an extra boost on both ends of the floor as they struggle to find their rhythm. The Heat had a difficult time firing up their shooting boots with Kyle Lowry and Max Strus even failing to score and combining for 0-of-15 from the field. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo led the way, but their performance was not on point. Miami could have used a major change during Wednesday’s contest, in the form of Markieff Morris.
Even during the regular season, Markieff appeared in just 17 games after missing most of the season due to a back injury sustained from Nikola Jokic’s shot early in the year. The veteran forward struggled in his limited time, hitting just 33% of his shots from deep, which is primarily what Miami would be relying on him to do well if he were to see any time. Boston will look to close out the series in front of their home crowd in Game 6 on Friday night, while the Heat will look to bounce back, extend their season, and force a decisive Game 7. With Miami struggling the way they are, Marcus wonders if perhaps it’s time to shake things up.
