Marcus Smart - Boston Celtics
If the Boston Celtics want to stop the scoring of Milwaukee Bucks, they surely would want to be on the aggressive end since the early stages of this semi-final series. On the same note, reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Marcus Smart went overboard as he brutally kicked ‘Villain’ Grayson Allen in Game 1 with a sublime Kung-Fu defense.
Taking about the particular play, while Grayson Allen, Bucks led majority of the night in Game 1, their shooting from downtown was always going to haunt the home team. During the first half, Allen wanted to try his luck from behind the arc, just when Marcus Smart kept charging up. Little did the former know that a little dodge would unleash the reigning DPOY to brutally knock him in the head.

As Smart kicked Grayson Allen in the head, matters did not go downtown with the tempers rising as the former guard chivalrously picked up the victim upon his feet and apologized for the unfortunate incident. Take a look at the video below.
Talking about Game 1 between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics at TD Garden, it wasn’t a great game for any of their marquee players. On one hand, where Jaylen Brown majorly struggled on the offensive end, Smart could not stop the wrath of Brook Lopez and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the paint-area. Moreover, the DPOY only went onto register 10 points against his name as the team was led by Jayson Tatum with only 21 points.
On the other hand, Khris Middleton less Bucks were led by Jrue Holiday with game-high 25 points. While Giannis Antetokounmpo had a very impressing triple-double capped by 24 points. Given that the defending champions have already draw first blood, it will be interesting to see how the Celtics show up in Game 2 to defend Giannis and the other taller Bucks’ scorers in the paint, to increase their chances of the offensive end. What drama awaits in this particular semi-final series? Remains to be seen.
