Marcus Smart cautious about Jimmy Butler’s EXPLOSIVE INSTINCTS ahead of ECF
Marcus Smart knows the road is going to be tough against Jimmy Butler and Heat in the ECF.

Jimmy Butler and Miami Heat
Marcus Smart is a smart man and knows the Boston Celtics‘ battle against the Jimmy Butler-led Miami Heat isn’t going to be any easy. He is well aware of Playoff Jimmy, Himmy Butler, Jimmy Buckets, or whatever one can call him. Marcus Smart and the whole basketball world knows about Jimmy Butler’s greats in the post-season so far. As he has led the Miami Heat to the Eastern Conference Finals and on his way has won the play-in tournament and knocked out Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Milwaukee Bucks and the New York Knicks.
So the Boston Celtics have to be prepared as they face him in the Conference Finals once again in just some hours. Marcus Smart and the Boston Celtics even met the Heat squad last season in the Eastern Conference Finals. And, that series came down to the very final second of Game 7, where unfortunately Jimmy Butler failed to drill the dagger. But now the Heat Squad is better and improved so the Celtics are surely going to have a “tough fight” with them.
Marcus Smart in his recent interview with Heavy, before the Eastern Conference Finals start went on to talk about his foe, Jimmy Butler. And, while doing so Marcus Smart quoted: “The ultimate gamer, I mean, playoff Jimmy is different… Don’t sleep on those guys, especially Jimmy. Jimmy’s just one of those players that’s a baller. He goes out and hoops. He goes out and plays. And, he has that fight in him. When you’ve got a guy like that, you’ve always got a chance of winning.”
Marcus Smart is no Dillon Brooks and is giving the right respect to Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat. The former DPOY knows he’ll have to do the best job possible for stopping Jimmy Butler. As he has clowned the league and switched on the playoff mode. As so far in the post-season he’s averaging: 31.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game. The series is going to be interesting as the trio of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart will try to repeat their trip to the NBA Finals once again. And, Jimmy won’t really let them slide with ease as he is really serious with the business this season.

Can Jimmy Butler lead Miami Heat past Marcus Smart, Boston Celtics?

The Eastern Conference Finals series hasn’t even started yet and the Boston Celtics are favored by many around to win it all this season. But such claims, predictions and hot takes have never really mattered. Especially, when it’s Jimmy Butler on the other end and Marcus Smart has already made it very clear. Honestly, the league isn’t really giving out the correct recognition to Miami Heat and their leader. From barely being able to make it to the playoffs, they now are about to have a real shot at the NBA Title.
Jimmy Butler has been unstoppable throughout the 10 post-season games he has played so far. But maybe the Boston Celtics have the answer. As they aren’t just the league’s best defensive team but also have DPOY Marcus Smart and a lot of size on their roster. But again, nothing can be claimed and said about them as Playoff Jimmy has been on a run upsetting a lot many players and franchises this season. But the Celtics are better offensively with shooting, placing, and shooting threes. They also have bigs who can run both ends.
So the chances of the series going long and deep are real. Game 1 is just some hours away and the showdown between them will then begin.
