“Forget it MAAAN!” Marcus Smart sounds off on Giannis Antetokounmpo kicking him in the face

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Marcus Smart

Marcus Smart and his Boston Celtics simply do not know the meaning of surrendering as they once again went onto level their semi-finals series against defending champions, Milwaukee Bucks via 116-108 victory. While Giannis Antetokounmpo went onto score game-high points yet he managed too also get himself into some altercation, be it with Al Horford or perhaps the reigning DPOY.

Talking about Smart vs Giannis, the Milwaukee Bucks star went onto kick the former guard on a particular play. As bad as it may seem, the Celtics player did not make the most of it and the action on court continued. But after Game 4 got over, he certainly spoke about the same and revealed his honest opinion.

What was opinionated by Marcus Smart?

Marcus Smart

Marcus Smart said Giannis went over his back, they got tangled, said Giannis did a good job keeping him on the floor, kicked him in the face and when Marcus tried helping him up, he refused. “I just said forget it man.”

Here is a look at the incident in question wherein the Celtics guard clearly attempts to help Giannis back up after they got tangled on the floor. To be completely honest, the kick did not look intentional. Or maybe it was? Either way, Smart did not make too much of it and even extended his hand to Giannis after cleaning the sole of Antetokounmpo’s shoe with his face.

That being said, after this particular play Marcus Smart even went onto help Giannis back up to his feet but the two-time MVP decided toa void any help from the reigning DPOY. But at least it was a good show of sportsmanship spirit from the Boston Celtics guard to say the least.

Boston Celtics are now 2-2 against Milwaukee Bucks, with Jayson Tatum also coming into prime-form. Will the most successful team in the history of the league be able to finally take the upper hand in this contest against the mighty defending champions? Remains to be eagerly seen.
