Markieff Morris signed with the Brooklyn Nets some weeks ago and he already has jokes about the situation they had with Kevin Durant. Where KD almost left the Nets and bounced off to another team after they got swept by the Celtics in the first round of playoffs. Another big reason was also his and Kyrie Irving’s relationship with the front office, head coach and the whole system. As Kevin Durant tried to get them out of the team too. But now none of it matters as they are back and their new guy, Markieff Morris is trolling the whole situation.
The Brooklyn Nets though listed Kevin Durant in the market for some good months and the story is same for Kyrie Irving too. But they never got any satisfying and fair deals for them. Also, the ownership and management didn’t really wanted to part ways with their superstar duo. As now with additions like Ben Simmons, Seth Curry and Markieff Morris the team can win it all without a doubt. They also look good in terms of team chemistry as Markieff Morris who wasn’t even around during the chaotic and confusing situation is out with trolls for KD.
The Brooklyn Nets recently had their Media Day where players and coaches got things cleared between them publically and now they look ahead to get the franchise a title this season. As they have the right pieces to win it all. Recently, Markieff Morris had the whole media room laughing during training camp’s day one. As he gave out a hilarious response while discussing Kevin Durant’s request to get traded away. He also brought his wife into the conversation.

Same sh*t, same sh*t. You air your differences until you figure it out… Yeah, I mean I broke up with my wife a couple of times and we’re still married. Sh*t works. Sometimes you need space to figure some things out you know sh*t works. It is what it is.”
Honestly, Markieff Morris ain’t wrong even though the example he used made the most controversial and serious moment of the franchise funny. But fortunately, that’s exactly what happened and now the Nets have the services of Kevin Durant back. And, KD even addressed the fans on media day and has assured them he’s locked in and they don’t have to doubt him. The Nets this season are really going to be a threat to the league. As with their stars staying healthy, it won’t be easy for anyone to take them down.
