The Ime Udoka cheating scandal is getting deeper and deeper as the days go by. Matt Barnes, the former NBA player puts out a video that suggests the situation inside the Boston Celtics franchise is more complicated than ever.
Ime Udoka, the Nigerian-American Boston Celtics coach recently was put into hot waters for his illegitimate relationship with a female staff of the Boston Celtics organization. Udoka cheated on his long-time partner, Hollywood actress, Nia Long which has caused a lot of chaos in the NBA world.
Matt Barnes put out a shocking video regarding the aftermath of the Udoka scandal. “Last night, without knowing all the facts, I spoke on Ime Udoka’s defense and after finding out the facts after I spoke, I erased what I posted because this situation in Boston is deep, it’s messy, it’s 100 times uglier,” said the former player.
“Some things happened that I can’t condone, I can’t back, and it’s not my place to tell you what happened. If it ends up coming out, it ends up coming out…I got a call from someone who ran all the details and sh*t is deep. Praying for everybody involved, hope everyone gets through this,” Matt said in the video posted on his Instagram account.

A lot of fans and critics were shocked that the Boston Celtics were receiving a one-year suspension for his cheating scandal. Though the act of Ime is considered to be unethical, many believe that suspending the coach for a personal matter was not the way to go about it.
Matt Barnes resonated with the same thoughts and posted his initial reactions on social media. “I played in the league for a long time. Anyone who played in the league can tell you, this is a very common situation. This is not new news for people who have been in the league or even around organizations,” said Barnes.
