“You have LeBron James, you have no excuses, SHUT UP!” Max Kellerman calls out Jeanie Buss to make bold changes in coaching situation

LeBron James and Jeanie Buss
Among the many analysts who have openly criticised the Los Angeles Lakers for a horrid 2021-22 season, Max Kellerman surely had a big role. The sports media personality has often called out the purple and gold management and players for their blunders since the beginning of 2021-22 season. His latest rant was on Lakers, who missed the postseason entirely and owner Jeanie Buss.
Max Kellerman who was recently on ESPN’s KJM show took special notice to call out Jeanie Buss for making bold decision on the coaching situation. Especially after Frank Vogel being sacked in such demeaning manner, Kellerman’s take is surely not something you should miss.

Kellerman said, “I understand why people say it’s a bad job. You’re the Lakers, you have LeBron James, no excuses, shut up. But all it takes is Jeanie to make a decision.”

In what is likely the first of multiple moves in this painful and excruciating offseason, the purple and gold parted ways with head coach Frank Vogel. While coaching was far from one of Los Angeles Lakers top issues, Vogel was made the scapegoat for an incredibly underwhelming season.
That being said, still, very early on in the process, multiple names have already been connected to Los Angeles in rumors. Some of the more high-profile names include Doc Rivers, Nick Nurse, and Quin Synder. At this point, there should be no rush to hire a replacement for Vogel.

There are more important issues they need to address before hiring a new head coach. While Kellerman thinks this job has an allure, it is going to be a very tough sell. However, the Los Angeles Lakers might be once again a truly reformed unit in the next season, it will be exciting to see how they build a supporting unit besides LeBron James. Will we see any of the two superstars between Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook depart? Probably one of the biggest moves to look after for the team and NBA fans in this offseason.
