Metta World Peace recently made his way back to the NBA headlines. As he warned the league about the return of Kawhi Leonard. He is a strong believer on the return of Klaw and also believes that he is a special guy and honestly one can’t deny that. As Kawhi Leonard is really a special player and has all the potential for getting the job done. But the recent years have been full of struggles for him as he has suffered a lot of injuries and had to be held back. But now Metta World Peace believes that all of that is done and gone as he’ll be coming back with vengeance and can destroy the whole league.
Metta World Peace is one of the well-known names in Los Angeles and he loves it there. As that’s the place where he won his one and only championship with the Kobe Bryant-led Los Angeles Lakers and has spent some of the best moments of his career in that city. So Metta World Peace riding with an L.A star is very understandable but that being Kawhi Leonard surely had many shocked. His take on Kawhi’s return is a fair one and makes sense. As Klaw will be out for revenge since he is out from June 14th, 2021 due to a torn ACL and now has a lot of pending business on the court.

Metta World Peace wants to see Kawhi Leonard back on court
In a recent interview of Metta World Peace with ClutchPoints, he talked about Kawhi Leonard’s return and showed out his excitement by quoting: “Anybody in LA, I love. I live in LA. T-Lue is a Laker, also a Clipper, so I hope he does well. Hopefully, we get Kawhi back. I wanna see Kawhi BACK. I’m not playing. I wanna see Kawhi back. So hopefully he comes back with a vengeance and comes back. I wanna see him on the court…Kawhi is special. He’s in shape, he can score, and he can play defense. He’s incredible. He’s incredibly special. God damn… He’s incredibly special (knowing about Klaw making it to the NBA 75 team). He’s special, for sure.”
Metta World is right with his words as the special guy Kawhi is currently in rehabilitation and looks healthy. He is in good shape with strong legs surely he’ll be hitting the weight room soon to get in the best basketball shape possible. The Los Angeles Clippers now are much stronger with him and Paul George suiting up healthy. They have also brought in John Wall and raised the bar a bit high for the western conference. As their roster is surely a championship contender one and they have all the potential to get themselves a trip to the NBA Finals. Since it’s not going to be easy to win against the pieces they have gathered this year so far and with the offseason still going on, they are just trying to get better and improve as a team.
