Jamal Murray also made history, joining Magic Johnson in the record books with his fourth-straight 10-assist game to start the Finals. Nikola Jokic, the team’s star center, contributed with 23 points and 12 rebounds, further solidifying his status as one of the league’s premier big men.
The Miami Heat, led by their star player Jimmy Butler had an impressive showing, scoring 25 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds. Bam Adebayo, added with 20 points and 11 rebounds. However, despite their efforts, the Heat fell short once again in their comeback.
