NBA legend Michael Jordan is making the most of his summer by enjoying a holiday abroad. The 60-year-old sports icon was recently spotted in Italy, taking a boat tour off the coast of Sicily with his wife, Yvette Prieto, and their 9-year-old twin daughters, Ysabel and Victoria. The family appeared to be having a great time as they soaked up the sun and explored the Italian coastline.

Apart from his family life, Michael Jordan has been making headlines in the sports business world as well. Last month, he made a significant decision regarding his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets. Jordan agreed to sell his ownership position to a group led by financiers Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall at an estimated valuation of approximately $3 billion.

Although he is selling the majority stake, Jordan will reportedly retain a minority ownership position in the franchise. This move marks a significant transition for the basketball icon, who has owned the Hornets for 13 seasons. Throughout his ownership tenure, the team experienced its fair share of challenges, including a lack of success in the playoffs.

Under Jordan’s ownership, the Hornets struggled to make an impact in the postseason, failing to win a playoff round and missing the playoffs for seven consecutive years. However, in 2022, they showed signs of progress by making the play-in tournament, indicating potential for improvement in the future.
