A pair of tickets preserved by a fan of NBA legend Michael Jordan‘s NBA debut game will soon go under the hammer. The tickets are one of the rarest pieces in history, and experts say they can fetch millions of dollars. The same are dated way back on Oct. 26, 1984, when Jordan made his first appearance for the Chicago Bulls.

The tickets were preserved for decades by one crazy MJ fan, which is indeed said to be a smart move. ‘Bonhams’ is hosting the auctions, and the officials think the tickets will quickly go between $200K and $300K. One of the tickets has the words ‘Michael Jordan’s first game’ inscribed on the front, while the other has ‘Michael Jordan’s first game’ engraved on the back.

One of the tickets also features an autograph of former NBA player Dallas Comegys, who signed the fan’s ticket while attending the game that night. A ticket was similar to this pair sold for a staggering $468,000 earlier this year. Jordan’s souvenirs have been in demand since ESPN aired its 2020 documentary ‘The Last Dance.’

Jordan scored 33 points in Game 1 for the Chicago Bulls in a losing effort against the Utah Jazz.

Chicago ultimately won the 1998 NBA Finals, a season referred to as the ‘Last Dance,’ in six games, with Jordan averaging 33.5 points per game in the series. Game 6 of the series was Jordan’s last NBA playoff game.
