“SEASON OVER” Moses Moody falls flat on his face after scary season-ending injury vs Celtics in Summer League clash
Moses Moody
Moses Moody once again almost called a wrap-up for his unstarted season. As he was down on the floor during an NBA Summer League match-up between Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors. It’s his second year in the league and everyone around knows he’s full of potential but still is limited and held back due to injuries and the veteran roster of the Golden State Warriors. This year’s Summer League is wild with a lot of unexpected and unbelievable talents but still Moses Moody is individually better sometimes as he has shown and proved it to everyone around. But last night he got schooled by Mfiondu Kabengele as he was bullied down to the ground.
The game though was closely contested and head to head but the Boston Celtics got the job done against the Golden State Warriors and won it all. The final box score stands at 103-92. Moses Moody played his heart and soul out on the court dropping 21 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds while also backing up Jonathan Kuminga. But unfortunately, they weren’t the better ones in the competition as Celtics’ young guns proved it. Moses Moody though made it to the NBA headlines but not for his performance but for him getting another hard fall on the court which could have caused him a season-ending injury.
Fans react to Moses Moody’s hard fall on the court against the Boston Celtics
With around fifty-one seconds remaining for the game to end. Moody drives in the paint to flush the ball and try to cut the nine points lead. But nothing like that happened as his bounce wasn’t enough to get past against the defensive greats of Mfiondu Kabengele. As the ball got blocked and a bit of physical contact sent him straight to the ground resulting in a bad fall.
It was a loud and hard fall and he probably injured his chin, chest, nose and even knees as he was totally out of balance and it all happened in a fraction of seconds. Fans are really worried about Moses Moody as they want to see more of him on the court and don’t want to lose him to some injuries.
