“I actually think Steph is the second-best player of all time” NBA Analyst believes Stephen Curry is ahead of LeBron James in the GOAT debate
Stephen Curry turned a lot of heads during the NBA Finals last season following his monstrous performances. The Golden State Warriors went on to win their fourth title under the leadership of the masterful shooter. He was a major threat on offense and seemed upped his defense as well to provide an elevation for his team full of scorer.
Following the championship victory, many have started to place the baby faced assassin among the greatest players of all-time solely because of his work and accomplishments as an individual. He also became the all-time leader in three-pointers made last season. Curry may have re-entered his prime after averaging 30 points per game last season and half way through the latest season. He finished the season with 25.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game.
Ray Allen says LeBron James can never be called GOAT
The former all-time leader in three-pointers, Ray Allen had an interesting take on the GOAT debate recently after heckling a fan over it. The LeBron James fan was shut down by the sharpshooting legend after he said Bron will never be GOAT because he cannot shoot or dribble the ball. This raised a lot of questions among fans of the sport.
James has been often debated to be greatest player ever along with Michael Jordan. Now while each player has their own reason to be called the GOAT, Allen’s take on the debate is highly unusual. LBJ himself had a historic season averaging 30.1 points per game in his 19th season and became the second all-time scorer. Stephen Curry was also placed among the likes of players like MJ and Bron after making an impressive run in the finals.
Analyst Bobby Marks makes a shocking GOAT debate take
After RA shocked the entire world with his statement, it became the hottest topic in discussion. Bobby Marks joined ESPN to share his thoughts on the remark saying, “I think Ray Allen hit it on the head and I’m gonna stun you with this take here. I actually think Stephen Curry is the second best player of all-time right behind Michael Jordan.”
“Curry has this instinct what I saw with Jordan where anytime he had the ball you think it’s going to go in, he’s a threat offensively, I think we’ve got three or four more years of Curry in his prime right now. I would put Curry ahead of LeBron James right now as far as that number two guy behind Michael Jordan.”
