Superstar Michael Jordon is undoubtedly the best in the NBA league. His records speak for him. The debate that another NBA star, LeBron James can get close to him has always been there, and it is never-ending. Recently, former NBA player Jalen Rose commented that he thinks Michael Jordon is far ahead of LeBron, and there can be no comparison between them. Now that LeBron is getting closer to overtaking Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s scoring points record, the comparison debate has again been ignited.

Jalen was asked to pick his top five players in the NBA, while talking to Rachel DeMita, on “Courtside club,” he stated, “When you talk about the best players of all time, you ultimately start talking about who’s the GOAT. And when you talk about GOAT, the first word is ‘Greatest.’ That means achieved more than somebody else. And if we’re comparing Michael Jordan and LeBron, for example, Michael Jordan got ten scoring titles LeBron has one. Michael Jordan has been Defensive Player of the Year in the NBA, LeBron hasn’t.”

He further added, “Michael Jordan has two separate three-peats, LeBron doesn’t have one three-peat. And so, like, you don’t necessarily even need to watch them play to acknowledge that what Michael Jordan achieved just solely on the court is greater.” Well, it is always difficult to chose top-five favorite players because the league is known for giving out star players every now and then.
