Draymond Green has been in the NBA headlines ever since he got a part of the ongoing comparison of different teams from different eras. He being the smart one knows and has also mentioned in the very same attacking tweet of his that such comparisons are senseless and dumb. But being a media member of course the new media even he got the job done as he compared the 2017 Golden State Warriors to the 1998 Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz. Draymond Green also claimed the Dubs to win over them and since then is getting criticized, trolled and ripped apart by fans and analysts around the game. The most recent names to clown the former DPOY are Chris Broussard and Rob Parker.

Draymond Green took a shot at Michael Jordan and Karl Malone’s team via his personal Twitter handle and wrote: “I’m watching the 98 Bulls vs Utah in the Finals… I can’t help but notice our 2017 team would’ve beaten these Bulls by a dub and these Jazz by 40 if they’re going to play these brands of basketball. And that’s why it’s dumb to compare Era’s.” The former DPOY probably got tricked into thinking he has a chance but the reality can be very disappointing for him. As he forgot the greats of The Mailman and Black Jesus who without a doubt are better than him and also the fact that how physically tough the league was back in the days.

This tweet by him has also confused many around and Chris Broussard and Rob Parker are on that list. As him being one of the founders of New Media, such foolish takes aren’t expected from his side. As they are just some senseless comparisons as match-ups for such conversation aren’t possible and that makes claiming the win very easy. Green is probably also forgetting that the players he’s firing shots at are far better than him in most of the possible comparisons. So Chris Broussard and Rob Parker did a brilliant job making sure he has his facts right. As on their recent podcast, “The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Parker” they made sure the former DPOY knows who he is and who his competition is.

Chris Broussard had his things very clear as he just needed a reason to ride with Draymond Green’s claim as after criticizing the defensive expert of Warriors he quoted: “We never saw Michael Jordan lose in the Finals. Why should I believe any of these teams would beat the Bulls?” On the other hand, Rob Parker founded the take by Green funny as he said: “For Draymond Green to attack Michael Jordan and what the Bulls were able to accomplish…I find it comical.” Obviously, he is right and it indeed is comical as he knew what he’s doing is dumb but again he got the job done.

Rob Parker though didn’t really just end it there and on the podcast also fired a very straight shot towards Draymond Green’s skillsets as he quoted: “Draymond Green could’ve gone to 20 other teams and wouldn’t be the player that he is. He would’ve been in Detroit, and he would’ve been exposed. … He would have gotten a big pay day, but it would’ve been like, ‘Oh, this guy, he is not a tier one player. He knew better.'” There’s no doubt about the limitations Green has offensively as he often gets trolled for his single-triples.

This just makes him calling out other greats of the game very wrong since he isn’t the main guy running the business down there. So ship him across and the story changes as he’ll be a different player who may get benched just because of poor offense since not all teams run the floor like the Dubs do.
