She got it done in style as she celebrated her victory and advancement to the second round where she and the Seattle Storm under her leadership will be facing the Las Vegas Aces. Sue Bird is in the final year of her playing career as she announced earlier. So her still being in the race and having a shot at winning the championship is already next-level greatness and also there’s no doubt to the fact that she is G.O.A.T of the WNBA and even LeBron James agrees to it.

So after wrapping it up against the Washington Mystics, Sue Bird did the iconic Michael Jordan celebration of Shrug and since then has the internet fuming over it. Few are mad at her to celebrate like Michael Jordan and that too with the iconic emote. But many aren’t liking it and aren’t riding with it because SportsCenter compared Sue Bird with Black Jesus as both of them have achieved that G.O.A.T status.

Sue Bird is also one of the greatest basketball players ever and there’s literally no doubt about it. And, most importantly she has sticked with the same one team throughout her playing career in WNBA. So calling her G.O.A.T is not wrong and bringing up some friendly comparisons too. But again the internet won’t understand it.
