Lonzo Ball is has been a well known name in the NBA ever since he got drafted. Besides having a father who is well invested in his children’s career in sports, the NBA athlete was one of the top prospects in the country. The All-American star was the assists leader in 2017 for the NCAA and earned the title of Mr. Basketball USA in 2016.

He was the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft selected by the legendary organisation Los Angeles Lakers. Ball averaged 10.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. But his only was his jumpshot which restricted him from achieving range and consistency. He was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans where he began scoring the ball better averaging 14.6 points during the 2020-21 Season.

Lonzo Ball gets rules out mid-season after a torn meniscus

Lonzo Ball was becoming more consistent on offense after joining the Chicago Bulls ahead of the 2021-22 Season. His 13 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game along with his defensive presence benefitted Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan who had also played his first season season the franchise. Unfortunately, injuries are very uncalled for and so was Zo’s.

He tore his meniscus in January which caused him to be ruled out until further notice. In March, he experienced a slight set back with officially called an end to his first season with the Bulls. His representatives have spoken on his injury saying that he has shown a lot of improvement and is in continued progress. No details on his return have surfaced yet.

As exciting the news of his recovery may sound, what is even more surprising is that he seemed very comfortable dancing around at a wedding ceremony.
