The Western Conference semifinals are packed with all kinds of action for NBA fans. With the series leveled 1-1, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors headed into Game 3 looking to extend the lead 2-1. After a 27-point loss in Game 2, LeBron James and Co. had no intentions of being hospitable guests. They simply returned the favor as the men in purple and gold came out on top in Game 3. The Lakers took away Game 3 with a blowout victory over defending champions.
Anthony Davis is undoubtedly one of the most important players for the Lakers. The Center showed up in Game 3 for his team with 25 points and 13 rebounds. James on the other end played a supportive role with a 21 point-contribution. The Warriors didn’t have the greatest night with their scoring as Stephen Curry managed just 23 points. Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins put up 15 and 16 points respectively. In a commanding Lakers victory, the score at the end of regulation was 97-127.
Pressure mounting every game, the postseason requires a different level of athleticism and hustle. Moreover, to play against the defending champions, every defensive measure is crucial to restrict them from scoring. And who’s better at the monstrosity than the King himself?
LeBron James reflected champion worthy mindset in the third quarter of the game. The Lakers were up 64-76 as the Warriors were looking to push for a comeback. Stephen Curry ran a fastbreak on the offense and passed the ball across the court to Andrew Wiggins. However, James played an excellent defensive game to deflect the ball out of bounds and surprise Wiggins. After his defensive play, hustling hard, James was carried away into the tunnel amid the fans due to his high momentum.

The Warriors, on the other hand, will know exactly what changes to make. Nevertheless, Game 5 is most definitely an anticipated matchup.
