“How can they be allowed to referee in such a close contest?” NBA Fans lose their mind as Tony Brothers once again make game-deciding flop calls⁩

Tony Brothers has never been an appreciated referee in the league for his controversial foul calls. If you talk about the NBA Finals, you would expect the top level officiating and legitimate calls to be made for fair game. But in Brothers’ case, anyone is opened to officiate those games. Game 5 may have been a very controversial one between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics.

During the fourth quarter of the game, as the Celtics were going to inbound the ball, Marcus Smart tried to push his way closer to his teammate to gain possession. Somehow, Jordan Poole and Smart had tangled up with each other. The defensive player of the year seemed a little agitated by the arm grab and he pulled away with slight aggression barely touching Poole. Brothers’ who was the head official rewarded Smart with a technical foul.
