Joel Embiid started Game 6 of the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat by unintentionally sabotaging his own team. As he got Danny Green injured in the starting minutes itself and he never returned and even got carried back to the locker room. The Philadelphia 76ers struggled throughout the game on the offensive end as well as the defensive end since the franchise stars were out of form and so was the bench. All these unfortunate factors and the road already being easy for the Heat had the Philadelphia 76ers eliminated in Game 6. Danny Green’s injury because of Joel Embiid really costed them the game as they had no other shooter to trust on, around and it also lowered their defensive edge.
The Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Miami Heat at Wells Fargo Center for Game 6 of the series. It was an important game for both the teams and was closely contested and head to head until the second half where the Jimmy Butler-led Miami Heat took control over the game and dominated the Sixers. James Harden, Tyrese Maxey, and Joel Embiid tried their best but they weren’t able to cut the lead and establish them in the game so the Miami Heat officially called a wrap on them. The final box score stands at 90-99 and the Sixers will now look to improve their roster and get better in the off-season. Danny Green though missed the opportunity to prove his worth as his team lost him very early in the game.
Joel Embiid as soon as the game started tried to take over the control and was even successful for some time. But in his clash to dominate the paint against the frontcourt of the Miami Heat things got physical and heated. As both, the teams wanted to win the game and the Sixers were even stuck in a do-or-die situation in which they didn’t survive.

With eight minutes and fifty-four seconds remaining for the first quarter to end the game was paused. As Danny Green was down on the floor due to Joel Embiid who got a bucket after being triple-teamed crashed into his left leg. Danny Green on the floor was in immense pain as he held his hamstring and then was also carried off the court by his teammates to the locker room.
