“If it were Draymond Green he’d be in San Quentin” NBA Fans react to Giannis Antetokounmpo running away from ejection after nasty move in Game 2
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Grant Williams
Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the nicest guys in the league but at the same time, he is also the most competitive and tough one who doesn’t wants the road to be easy. The Milwaukee Bucks under his leadership are now in the eastern conference semifinals and facing the Jayson Tatum-led Boston Celtics. The Game 1 was an easy dub for the Bucks as Giannis Antetokounmpo got a legendary triple-double and led his team to register a dub. But Game 2 unexpectedly was completely a different story as the Celtics even though missing the DPOY Marcus Smart have the series tied at 1-1.
The Boston Celtics hosted the Milwaukee Bucks for Game 2 at TD Garden. The Celtics were successful in building an early lead for themselves which eventually had them up by twenty and more points. Their strong offensive end ran by the team together while locking up and limiting Giannis Antetokounmpo won them the game. The final box score stands at 109-86 favoring the Boston Celtics. An embarrassing 23 points loss for the Bucks who will be missing their second-best player and offensive star Khris Middleton throughout the series. The result was expected but the domination by the Celtics while they miss their defensive expert wasn’t.
In the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped 28 points, 7 assists, and 9 rebounds but unfortunately he is on the losing end as the duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown got the job done with the dub. But to be honest it was Grant Williams who won the game and should get the most credits for it as his defensive greats had Giannis Antetokounmpo lost and a video of him trying his best while getting a shot on his face also stands viral on the internet.

Fans react to Giannis Antetokounmpo elbowing Grant Williams
An offensive foul was called on Giannis Antetokounmpo for hitting Grant Williams while trying to create space and get in for a baby hook or an easy bucket as it was a mismatch. The foul was also reviewed for a flagrant one but it was unintentional and probably was because of the mismatch as the defender had his back lowered and was already shorter than the Greek Freak. Both of them later also exchanged words and it was all peace and no hate like every unintentional basketball foul should be.
There are thousands of reactions to offer for the viral clip of Giannis Antetokounmpo taking a shot at Grant Williams’ jaw. As fans reacting to it bring the master Draymond Green in the conversation who gets called out the most even though it wasn’t on purpose and also gets gifted with flagrants every now and then. Many are also happy to watch the Celtics find an answer for Giannis Antetokounmpo’s dominating game style. Find some of many such reactions posted by fans on social media platforms here below:
