Miles Bridges, the Charlotte Hornets star recently made it to the NBA headlines for his Instagram story. As he decided to post himself holding a cup of lean and a joint which he probably would have drank and smoked to enjoy the offseason. As the league doesn’t test players for drugs consumption during the offseason as the rules since a decade have been altered a bit. He deleted his Instagram story moments after the image of it was viral all over the internet and landed the star in trouble. Miles Bridges though tried to clear himself via a tweet of his where he quoted: “Pink Lemonade ?”. But many doubt him for that purplish liquid to be pink lemonade and not a cup of lean with ice cubes because he was also holding a rolled joint with it.
Miles Bridges had his best season so far of his career this year. He erupted to become a star as he carried and led the Charlotte Hornets to the play-in tournament. But unfortunately, the team didn’t make it to the playoffs and got an early exit to the offseason. This year Miles Bridges averaged 20.2 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. He improved his game overall in all aspects to become a star and step under the light. But now fans think he has messed up by posting drugs on his Instagram story. As Michael Jordan can rethink about the forward getting the maximum extension this year after that story.
Miles Bridges earlier this season got an offer for about $60 million but he didn’t sign it. As his agent, Rich Paul believes he can get a lot more money in, as he surely deserves that. The Charlotte Hornets surely think to stick Bridges for long-term as he is capable of leading the young squad they are building so an offer of around $100 million can be expected from the Michael Jordan-owned franchise for the forward to not leave the team. But his latest actions may have ruined it all as he can get in trouble for posting drugs and he already is.
