The LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers are really doing everything and anything possible to get better and be back on track. As they recently brought in Patrick Beverley via a trade in which they sent away Talen Horton Tucker and Stanley Johnson to the Utah Jazz. It’s a serious addition to the team and now LeBron James has a new supporting player who can hustle all day long and lock up the rival stars whenever and wherever needed. Patrick Beverley’s addition is actually very understandable as his defensive skillset will be very important for the team’s new system under new Head Coach Darvin Ham.
The Los Angeles Lakers were terrible last season as their veteran roster failed and disappointed everyone around. They didn’t even make it to the play-in tournament last year and had to call a very early wrap-up. As their big three of King James, AD and Brodie didn’t really work and LeBron James was seen helpless most of the time. So getting a veteran like Patrick Beverley on the roster who knows how to carry a team to the postseason is a fair move. Patrick Beverley is also a veteran guard and his experience is going to help the team a lot. The players though have differences with him on a very personal level but none of that matters now as everyone on the team just wants to be on the fortunate winning end.
Patrick Beverley is a good fit for the team as he adds some mobility and is one of the many pieces to build an agile squad for LeBron James’ ease. But still, his addition is not enough for the team to be tagged as championship contenders or even called as improved. As most of their star and rotational players are the same and now we can just hope they have a different form in the coming season or else the Lakers making it to the postseason won’t even be a possible idea.

And, now for the battle of Los Angeles, he is going to suit up for the Lakers. This has really hyped up the situation and there are thousands of reactions to offer for this trade.
