LeBron James has once again stunned the NBA world by showing of his godlike athleticism and unreal bounce. The Chosen one is living up to the expectations everyone had around him even before he was drafted. All of that hype continues even today. As LeBron James in his year 20 in the league sent the ball flying away while showing no regard for human life with his signature chase down block.
The LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Los Angeles Clippers at Crypto.com Arena. And, like always the Battle of L.A was worth watching. Kawhi Leonard (14 points, 2 assists and 7 rebounds) and John Wall both were back in action for the Clippers and came off the bench to manhandle the unfortunate Lakers who have lost both their games so far.
Just like the last season LeBron James is back and carrying the team on his shoulders. As suiting up for 37 minutes he had 20 points, 6 assists, 10 rebounds, 1 steal and also an unreal chase-down block on John Wall (15 points, 3 assists and 4 rebounds). King had two blocks in the game and both were on Optimus Dime but the one during the final minute of the first quarter brought all the memories back and is viral all over the internet.
The final box score stands at 103-97 favoring the Los Angeles Clippers. Now it feels like the Lakers are going to waste one more year of LeBron James’ unending prime. As the roster with few improvements still looks terrible with no one to play some high IQ ball and drill three-pointers. Bron though is still committed to the team and looks healthy to dominate the league as he really wants to get the job done.
Can a healthy LeBron James carry the Los Angeles Lakers across?
LeBron James is capable enough to carry any team across and even to the NBA Finals if he’s healthy and in perfect shape. We have seen him do that for a whole decade and not much has changed. As he still has the same godly knees which he showcased against the Clippers by registering a chase down block on John Wall to send the ball flying away in the first quarter itself.
The season has just started and the Lakers have a lot of time to improve, especially Russell Westbrook. Once they find the rhythm and build some chemistry LeBron can get another ring under his name.
