“You make me proud son unlike your dad” NBA Fans reacts as Stephen Curry hugs Sonya amid Dell Curry to be in attendance with new girlfriend

Things have been weird in the Curry household especially after the divorce of Dell and Sonya Curry. However both parents were in attendance at TD Garden to support their son, Steph in what could have been the biggest match to prove against the Boston Celtics. Given the support available, Chef Curry surely did not disappoint as he dropped game-high 43 points.

The Golden State Warriors went onto equalize the 2022 NBA Finals series once again, courtesy to the hard-fought effort of their marquee scorer. While Steph fetched all the limelight on the court, fans could not help but acknowledge the awkwardness at TD Garden for the 3-Point King as on one hand, he could be seen hugging his mom. While in another clip Dell Curry could be spotted watching the same game alongside his new girlfriend.

As published by USA Today, “Sonya Curry filed for divorce in June 2021 and said it was ‘provoked and justified’ by Dell Curry’s misconduct. She said Dell committed ‘illicit sexual misconduct’ with different women during their marriage and that infidelity was known to the family and to close friends of the parties.”

Take a look at some of the fan reactions-

Hopefully Sonya wasn’t too awkward to witness ex-husband along with new girlfriend. Steph on the other hand, was embraced all around and in the NBA world as he once again single-handedly led his team past the resilient Celtics defense.

With the 2022 NBA Finals being tied at 2-2, all eyes will be on Warriors, Curry on how they are able to protect their home court in game 5 to finally take the lead in this series? Will Celtics once again stamp their authority on road? Or will Golden State elaborate upon their improved trajectory? Remains to be seen.
