“Both wanna be thugs so bad” – NBA fans ROAST Angel Reese and Ja Morant for new dance clip together
Ja Morant joins LSU's Angel Reese in celebrating the National Championship.
Ja Morant recently linked up with LSU star forward Angel Reese. The Memphis Grizzlies point guard and women’s college basketball phenom were seen celebrating LSU’s National Championship victory together. They met shortly prior to the Tigers’ championship parade on Wednesday night.
Reese, who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four, has drawn praise from several basketball legends. As it seems, she has caught the attention of Morant as well. Reese shared a Tik Tok video of herself dancing with the explosive point guard. The two stars were spotted doing “The Griddy,” a dance step made popular by Morant and the Grizzlies during their in-game celebrations.
As their dance video quickly went viral, fans were blindsided by the spectacle of these two basketball stars mingling. Given the recent controversial history of Morant and Reese, several were caught off guard seeing them dance together. Recently, Morant caused a stir with his gun incident and was suspended for eight games as a result. Reese, on the other hand, earned a lot of flak for her in-game mocking of Iowa standout Caitlin Clark.
LSU Tigers trounced Iowa Hawkeyes 102-85 to lift NCAA title. While Reese and Morant have dominated the news headlines lately, no one expected them to link up. As the two basketball stars shimmied on “parade inside my city yeah,” fans quickly took notice of the viral video and flooded social media with reactions.
Ja Morant and Angel Reese subjects of online banter after the video surfaced
Fans were quick to offer their reactions after the video of Ja Morant and Angel Reese dancing was posted. While several mocked the two superstars given their recent controversies, to some, it was an unexpected collaboration that took them by surprise. Moreover, several supporters also enjoyed their simple dance before LSU’s championship parade.
Below are some of the best reactions to their dance video.
Morant has looked terrific since returning from suspension, and the Grizzlies appear to be solidified as the Western Conference’s second seed.
Angel Reese will use this time to unwind before preparing for the following season. Considering her post, she’ll be pulling for Ja Morant in the NBA Playoffs later this month.
