“Bro just say you’re racist” – NBA Twitter claims Kendrick Perkins racially biased after analyst’s HARSH comments about Luka Doncic
NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins faces backlash from Twitter after criticizing Luka Doncic's leadership and defensive skills.
Kendrick Perkins, an ESPN analyst and former NBA player, recently expressed his criticism towards Luka Doncic, the star player of the Dallas Mavericks. Perkins stated that Doncic needs to improve his leadership skills and defense and take more responsibility for his team’s underperformance this season.
Although Doncic has been an exceptional offensive player for the Mavericks this season, the team’s performance has not been up to par, and they face the risk of not making it to the playoffs. According to Perkins, it’s crucial for Doncic to take on a leadership role and enhance his defensive skills.
“When I watch Luka, I get so disturbed by his body language. Not only towards the officiating but towards his teammates. The pouting, the hanging of the head, going to the media,” Perkins said on ESPN’s “FIrst Take“ show.
He added, “It’s easy to say it’s Kyrie’s fault or that J-Kidd doesn’t know what he’s doing. At what point do we start pointing the finger at Luka?”
Perkins also criticized Doncic’s defensive effort, claiming that he needs to do more on that end of the court. “When are you gonna be accountable and say ‘I am tired of getting picked on? I’m gonna do more on the defensive side… I could at least give effort’,” Perkins said.
NBA Twitter Slams Kendrick Perkins for Racial Bias after Luka Doncic comments
Perkins’ comments about Doncic have sparked outrage on NBA Twitter, with many fans accusing him of being racially biased. Some fans pointed out that Perkins has a history of making negative comments about European players, including Doncic. “Bro just say you’re racist,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
Overall, Perkins’ comments about Doncic have sparked a heated debate on NBA Twitter, with fans divided over whether he was being fair in his criticism or if his comments were racially biased.
As the NBA playoffs approach and Dallas Mavericks drift away from a potential postseason appearance, the team is considering shutting down both Doncic and Kyrie Irving. However, nothing is set in stone yet, and a sudden turn of events can see Mavericks back in the playoff picture.
