“Doing everything to fix his reputation before the off season” NBA Twitter reacts to Draymond Green checking on Courtney Kirkland after the loss of Tony Brown

Courtney Kirkland and Draymond Green

Draymond Green is back in the NBA headlines and this time the reason isn’t him showing off his boxing skills on Jordan Poole by swinging a strong right. Instead, the reason is very pure as he checked upon NBA referee Courtney Kirkland before the game against the Denver Nuggets. Recently, the league lost a very efficient referee Tony Brown to pancreatic cancer at age 55 so Draymond Green checking on the ref is understandable. Tony was loved by many stars around the league.

Tony Brown was one of the best basketball referees in the world. He had an officiating career of more than 20 years and has officiated more than 1100 regular season games. The league and even many superstars around have addressed the loss of their special member. So Draymond Green taking some time out and reaching out to Courtney Kirkland to have a small talk and discuss life is really something we should respect.
