Charles Barkley and the NBA on TNT crew are all over the headlines. As they almost ended up playing a spelling bee on national television. The crewmates: Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley now know each other for years. And, they are also loved by the fans for the chemistry they have while analyzing sports and discussing basketball.

The duo of Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal is really a special one as they share a special relationship. Since they went on to become best friends from enemies while going against each other in the league and have even shown out their boxing skills to each other. All these years of being together as a family has the crew knowing each other perfectly. And, in the latest episode of “NBA on TNT”, Shaquille O’Neal proved it by challenging Charles Barkley to spell “SPECTACULAR”.

It all started with Ernie Johnson trolling Charles Barkley for claiming the games to be “spectacular”. And, the way Chuck pronounced the word it was enough for Shaq and the rest of the crew to challenge him to spell it out. Diesel was really confident with Sir Charles messing up the spelling as he bet $10,000 on it. So being competitive the Phoenix Suns’ legend agreed to do so. But made a hilarious request to write it down instead.

Charles Barkley’s unexpected request had the whole room cracked up with laughs. But fortunately, he got the spelling right and won the $10,000 bet placed against his spelling skills. And, it was really hard for everyone to believe that he has gotten the job done. Chuck was also humble to hand out the credits as he said: “That Auburn education pulled me through, America.”
