What sense did it make? Mark Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks wanted to mourn for the unfortunate incident which took place in Uvalde. As a result of which, they decided to stay off social media for 21 minutes each minute for each victim, seriously? Perhaps that is indeed the reaction of majority of NBA fans on Twitter who have mercilessly thrown shade at Cuban and his team for dealing in such an immature way.

We’ve seen tons of people come together to help out the families of the victims, and mourn those that were lost after a senseless shooting at the hands of an 18-year-old. Take a look at Mavericks’ latest post first and foremost. Safe to say, Dallas Mavericks also made an “effort” to pay their respects for the victims as well. The sensitivity of such matters is surely quite so serious and Dallas Mavericks trying to do a potential correct act but in such demeaning manner, shows just the importance of social media in the lives of modern-era fans and people. Will Mark Cuban come out and apologize, remains to be seen but it is indeed safe to say that more stern and stricter consequences are need to be implemented if such acts are to be stopped sooner rather than later. Lastly, heart goes all to all the family who have lost their loved ones.
