Let us look at more statical data, there is a vast difference in available roster spots allotted to football players, compared to basketball players. Because of the significant variances in available roster spots, the NFL provides more opportunities for players to make it to the professional level. As a result of which more players are competing at the high school and collegiate levels, which adds to the competitive landscape of football. With more African-American stars making it big, the aspect of football is now broadened to the ‘Black Community’.

On the other hand, marquee stars in the NFL work day-in-day-out to earn a big paycheck, which signifies their importance for the season. More importantly there is a difference of almost $2 Million in NBA and NFL average salary slips.

In easier words, back in 2021, Fox Business stated the average valuation of an NFL franchise is 2.86 billion. If you multiply that by 32 X 2.86. You get $91,520,000,000 Billion. To own, such an organization would cost an additional premium. It is likely the NFL is worth between $100 – 200 billion to this date.
