Nick Wroght frustrated on Draymond Green for frequent appearances on TV outside game

Nick Wright targeted Golden State Warriors’ former DPOY, Draymond Green for his poor performances in the NBA Finals series against Boston Celtics and also made his feelings clear about the his podcast where the 32-year-old is seen opinionating on different matters after each game.

Golden State Warriors struggled Game 3 of the 2022 NBA Finals. Stephen Curry played well, with Klay Thompson also finally providing much-needed support. But the rest of the team couldn’t cope with the Boston Celtics gameplay. The 4th quarter dominance of the Celtics ended any hope of return for the Golden State Warriors. While many questions to be resolved by the Warriors team, they are importantly facing a huge drop in form for Draymond Green. The star forward had 2 bad games in the series and the Warriors lost both the games. Nick Wright throws dis at Draymond while adding his feelings for “the Draymond Green show”.

Nick Wright pointed out that Green’s on-court failures increased pressure on Stephen Curry and the Warriors team, but people are more concerned about his podcast rather than the game-play. On the first take first show, Nick tried to relate Draymond with the game rather than his on-screen appearances.

3-time NBA Champions lost 2 games in NBA Finals as a result of some gutsy and well-planned game-play by the Boston Celtics players. But it was part of Golden State Warriors players also, who failed on the biggest stage. Stephen curry tried his best in all the 3 games, but end up losing 66% of them.

Nick Wright targets the second most influential star on the Golden State Warriors team, Draymond Green. As per Nick, the Warriors forward makes a huge impact on the game and his failure in recent games could be a worrying sign. But people focus more on Green’s Podcast, while his performances on the court are neglected.

He said, “Draymond’s lucky he’s doing a podcast. We’re focused on that instead of the fact this could be the worst Finals performance ever. He has the lowest true shooting % of any player in history through 3 Finals games with at least 100 mins. He’s never been this bad.”

Draymond averages 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. He was fouled out in a very important game-3 after just 34 minutes in the game, putting his team in more trouble. Nick gave the example of one Warriors fan Miles Brown, who said the problem with Draymond is Draymond’s podcast and he should be embarrassed to do it after poor performances.

Nick said, “Draymond has never been a wild box score guy. But in 2019 finals Draymond Green averaged 12 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. He was a consistent a triple-double threat. So I don’t care about the doing podcast or not, what I care about is he is turned into a bit of gate keeper.” And he said that Draymond shall be given Ben Simmons treatment – like sitting him out for games.

Though Draymond is very much into keeping in touch with fans through social media posts, TV shows, and Podcasts, Nick’s comments can’t be taken lightly. Former defensive player of the season has been an integral and very important piece of the Golden State Warriors dynasty and he needs to step up his game to bring the Glory back to the franchise.
